  • Hip Hop - Christian Focused

    Students will learn hip hop dance technique including break dancing, popping and locking and freezes, as well as iconic hip hop movements including the moon walk, the cabbage patch, the kid in play, the snake, and more! In this class we also will implement a special Christian focus- teaching from the perspective that we can use our gifts to give back to others, and praise God! We will incorporate music from Christian hip hop artists like Toby Mac, Lecrae, and Trip Lee. Students collaborate and learn funky routines to some of the best beats around, and let their inner star shine through break dance battles and more. Additional emphasis on style, contemporary choreography, movement vocabulary, strengthening and conditioning, rhythm, personal expression, and having fun! Class culminates with a special parent performance on the last day of the session. Students will showcase 1-2 learned routines, as well as other material they've learned throughout the session, and be presented with a certificate. Don't miss out on this unique, super fun class!
  • Introductory Spanish

    Let's start speaking! A fun introduction to a new language where children practice speaking Spanish in an immersion-style setting with interactive storytelling, puppets, hands-on activities, songs and games. We'll learn practical greetings and expressions, colors, numbers, body parts, family, directions, action words and more. Join us to learn Spanish while we follow the adventures of our favorite animal characters from our winter session story, The Little Red Hen, La Gallinita Roja! For brand new and continuing students.
  • Yoga (2-5)

    Give your student the tools to thrive in the face of every-day challenges at home and school with the ideal balance of purpose and play. In this non-competitive, supportive series of yoga classes, children learn self-regulation, stress relief, and self-care skills through yoga poses that enhance strength, balance and endurance, breathing exercises to restore and release energy, yoga games and partner experiences to build cooperation and collaboration, and meditation to calm the body, focus the mind, and soothe the soul. Through movement and mindfulness, your child can find greater confidence and resilience and rise to the challenge to be their personal best.
  • Young Chefs

    Children learn basic cooking ingredients, essential nutrition, and the accomplishment of creation as they discover the joys of cooking! A fun and interactive cooking experience for children! Our young chefs work together to prepare fun, delicious, nut-free recipes. We explore how chefs use math, science, creative art, history, and language arts to create the food we eat. At the end of the cooking program, children go home with a hand-made young chefs recipe book, featuring all the scrumptious recipes we prepared in class.

  • Chess

    Learn chess from a Silver Knights chess coach! State and national champions have come from our programs, but most of our students are just looking to have fun! Class time is split between lesson and play. Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the student's skill level. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. All grades and skill levels are welcome. Silver Knights will supply all the equipment during chess club. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.
  • Ballet/Tap

    For all young princes and princesses! Let your child's inner royalty and grace shine as they learn to chassé and pirouette their way across the floor to classic ballet music like The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and more. Students will learn ballet basics including barre work and center technique while using props, role playing, and imagination to aid in personal expression and creativity. Half way through class we'll switch it up and students will put on their tap shoes and learn tap basics including tap terminology, rhythm, technique, and more. Learn what funky names like "Flap", "Shuffle", and "Ball Change" mean in the tap world! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of session in class parent presentation where they will present 1-2 learned routines, other material they have learned throughout the session, and be presented with a certificate!
  • Piano

    Grade K-5 class. Students will participate in an beginner ensemble music group, learning the piano. Students will learn about the instrument, how to read musical notation as well as how to participate in a group. Students are provided with FREE instrument rentals to TAKE HOME with them for the entire session! Parents will be invited to a “Parent Day” on the last day of class. Rental Instruments must be returned at the last class.
