The Freedom Hill PTA is excited to offer an after school enrichment program for its students! We have three exciting sessions planned - Fall, Winter and Spring - with lots of great classes to choose from in each one. On this site you'll find all the information about program procedures, class descriptions and details you need to participate. Whether you are looking for sports, drama, arts and crafts, technology, science or hobbies, there's something here for everyone.

Transition from school to enrichment program:

Students will go directly to their activity rooms. Classes that take place outside will meet in the gym for attendance.

Beginner Ensemble (Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drum) - Learn Now Music 

Students will participate in a beginner ensemble music group. Students may choose which instrument to play during the session – piano, guitar, violin or drums. Students will learn about the instrument, how to read musical notation as well as how to participate in a group. Students are provided with FREE instrument rentals to TAKE HOME with them for the entire session! Parents will be invited to a “Parent Day” on the last day of class. Rental Instruments must be returned at the last class.

PE Club with Mr. Dowling - Freedom Hill PTA -

Students will participate in various intramural sports (such as basketball, floor hockey, soccer, badminton, and other modified skill- themed games) and fitness-related activities with an emphasis on skill development, game strategies, teamwork, and sportsmanship as well as health and fitness.

Silver Knights Chess - Silver Knights Enrichment 

Learn chess from a Silver Knights chess coach! State and national champions have come from our programs, but most of our students are just looking to have fun! Class time is split between lesson and play. Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the student's skill level. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. All grades and skill levels are welcome. Silver Knights will supply all the equipment during chess club. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.

Spanish Cantando y Bailando - Gift of Language

Spanish Cantando y Bailando is a fun approach to learning Spanish that is simple and effective. This course is designed to engage beginning students with little or no previous exposure or knowledge to Spanish. Students will be introduced to the sound system and grammatical structure of the Spanish language. Our focus will be on developing skills in the areas of speaking and listening through music, visuals, TPR method and fun games and activities.
