The Bristow Run PTO is excited to offer an after school enrichment program for its students! We have two exciting sessions planned - Fall and Winter - with lots of great classes to choose from in each one. On this site you'll find all the information about program procedures, class descriptions and details you need to participate. Whether you are looking for sports, drama, arts and crafts, technology, science or hobbies, there's something here for everyone. Transition from school to enrichment programs:
All students enrolled in enrichment are dismissed to the Cafeteria where Instructors will meet them. SACC students do not need to go to that program first.

Cheers to You - Cheers to You
Cheers to You is a fun recreational cheerleading class. We learn basic cheerleading arm motions, jumps, and dance routines set to music. Class fee includes Cheer T-shirt, matching hair bow, & award show! Our goal is to get active, include all students, and have school team spirit!

Kid Favorite Sports! - GamePoint Athletics
Come enjoy the most popular kid sports! Participants will play basketball, soccer, and flag football! Kids will practice basic drills for all three sports. But much of this session will be devoted to kids playing in fun and competitive games. So, kids will enjoy the NBA playoffs, NFL playoffs, and the World Cup all in ONE session!!
Musical Theatre - Message in Motion
Students are introduced to the main components of musical theatre including voice, acting, basic music theory, and dance technique (typically musical theatre jazz/broadway style and/or hip hop.) Learn choreography, staging, and costuming basics. Use of props, role playing, and imagination to aid in personal expression and creativity. Students work together to learn mini musical routines from both classic Broadway shows like Cats & Annie to more contemporary productions and shows like Fresh Beat Band, High School Musical, Lion King, and more! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of session in class parent presentation where they will present 1-2 learned mini musical routines, other material they have learned throughout the session, and be presented with a certificate!

This fun and colorful program offers a wide variety of different Arts & Crafts projects to last the entire school year! Kids will engage in exciting art projects each week, exploring different materials, art mediums and techniques.
Chess - Silver Knights Enrichment
Learn chess from a Silver Knights chess coach! State and national champions have come from our programs, but most of our students are just looking to have fun! Class time is split between lesson and play. Lessons range from learning the rules to advanced tournament strategies, depending on the student's skill level. Play time is structured to pair each student against an opponent of similar skill. All grades and skill levels are welcome. Silver Knights will supply all the equipment during chess club. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments.
Tennis - TGA Premier Youth Tennis
The United States Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic Section (USTA MAS) proudly presents TGA Premier Youth Tennis, the first and only national tennis enrichment program in the country. Students will develop tennis skills utilizing kid-friendly equipment in a play-to-learn style that gets them rallying and having fun right away. In addition, students will learn relevant character development and STEM skills such as sportsmanship, respect, math, science, technology, and more. Elementary school programs include a five-level progression system. All first time students receive a wristband, a hat, and a student handbook. Program is taught by USTA-trained and background-screened coaches utilizing the most current teaching methodology. All tennis equipment is provided (e.g. racquets, balls, pop up nets).
