Drama Kids - Drama Kids (16 Weeks)

Drama Kids offers an exciting program for kids in Grades K-5. Our enriching and time-tested curriculum is designed not only to teach acting skills, but also to build student confidence, encourage teamwork, and bolster public speaking skills. Drama Kids highly trained teachers motivate and inspire the students to become articulate communicators through enthusiastic participation in a wide range of creative activities including speech, creative movement, and improvisation. It can run for as little as 6 weeks or the entire school year. If we run for the full school year, in the fall, we teach individual lessons each week focusing on skills like projection, articulation, improvisation, characterization, and stage presence. In the spring, we put all of the skills we've learned to use as we start our spring play! The kids are given scripts and roles and spend the spring classes rehearsing for their performance. The program culminates in May with a full performance of the play, complete with costumes, sets, and an audience of family and friends. Space is limited for the class. Enroll today to reserve your child's spot in this exciting and empowering program!  ATTN: This is a 16 week class that meets on the following dates:  January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2, 16, 23, 30
