Intro to STEM Using LEGOS - Play-Well TEKnologies

Tap into your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as: Boats, Snowmobiles, Catapults, and Merry-Go-Rounds. Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. Then use special pieces to create your own unique design! New and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. There are no prerequisites for this course and each season's session will feature unique projects, STEM concepts, and new adventures!

Love the Ball Mini Kickers Soccer - Love the Ball

Love the Ball Mini Kickers Soccer will be the first soccer experience for many players where players will learn to love the ball. The program is based around fun fantasy based themes such as pirates, spaceships and superheroes. The curriculum introduces dribbling, shooting and changing of direction all while making new friends, interacting with peers, the coach and props. The curriculum is designed for pre-school aged children.

Musical Theatre - Message in Motion

Students are introduced to the main components of musical theatre including voice, acting, basic music theory, and dance technique (typically musical theatre jazz/broadway style and/or hip hop.) Learn choreography, staging, and costuming basics. Use of props, role playing, and imagination to aid in personal expression and creativity. Students work together to learn mini musical routines from both classic Broadway shows like Cats & Annie to more contemporary productions and shows like Fresh Beat Band, High School Musical, Lion King, and more! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of session in class parent presentation where they will present 1-2 learned mini musical routines, other material they have learned throughout the session, and be presented with a certificate!

Basketball Academy - Love the Ball

The Love the Ball basketball academy will take your game to the next level. All players will have a basketball at all times which will drastically improve their fundamentals while we play games like king of the court, knockout and farmers and foxes. Advanced skills will also be taught like free throw shooting, crossovers and much more.

Pottery - Mudskippers

Let Mudskippers Pottery bring the mud to your school! We are a family run professional studio that specializes in PTA sponsored after school ceramics education. Our instructors will expand students' knowledge and creativity. Each project is grounded in an historical artwork, submersing students in history and culture. Students will hone their fine motor skills through hand building and glazing pottery while expressing their unique personal vision. The 3D medium will teach them to use problem solving skills to address form and structure. Mudskippers Pottery will bring their convenient mobile studio to your school with all the advantages of a professional studio.

Robotics: Wheeliebots - Silver Knight's Enrichment

Silver Knights Robotics uses LEGO® WeDo 2.0 in our enrichment classes. Each session includes different projects so material doesn’t repeat. WheelieBots is full of robots with, you guessed it, wheels! Build bots to roll and race. Learn how gear changes can make your rolling wonder faster or more powerful. In this fun unit you will build a mini- truck, the Sphinx, and the Wall Tracer which actually traces around any object!

3D Printing - STEM exCEL

3D Printing is a premiere class that not only teaches students how to create 3D models from an artistic standpoint, but also teaches them from an engineering standpoint. Because the models will be printed, our instructors teach students what to consider in the construction of the model to produce the best-quality print. Students will observe a 3D Printer during each lesson to learn proper 3D printing standards and processes, all while creating their own models that will be printed for them. The course ends with students taking home their own accounts so they may continue modeling at home, along with at least 4 model prints they designed themselves during their time with us.
